About me
I’m a molecular and developmental biologist with a passion for teaching. I focus on studying how environmental conditions influence the development of organisms during their early life.
Quick links
I’m currently a postdoc in the Strader Lab at Texas A&M University. My research and training background has focused on molecular biology, developmental biology, and genetics, and using these tools to investigate questions in an ecological context. That’s the long winded way of saying I’m curious about the ways that environments alter how animals develop.
My bachelors and Masters degrees were completed at Walla Walla University (a SALC in Washington State). This is where my love of research was born and those were the experiences that inspired my desire to teach.
I’m also a PADI certified Divemaster and have scientific diving experience in both temperate and tropical water.
